The freedom found in Christ is never more evident than what I have witnessed in this family.
The tragedy they experienced yet the JOY they still exude encourages more people than they even realize every.single.day.
On my way to this shoot, I begged God to just take over the camera because I was sure I was not capable of being qualified for this moment. We anticipated a mass butterfly release, but instead only a few came out.
Leaving the shoot, it hit me, this was exactly what God had planned because obviously, His expectations are better than what we can imagineTate’s life is that example. What we anticipated for his life was not what God had planned.
So the simplicity behind the few butterflies leaving showed us once again, God’s way is perfect. We do not need hundreds of butterflies. We need just a few.
We need the one our friend saw moments after the Holy Spirit had asked her to do something wild and crazy for Whitney.
We need the one Hudson and Kuy saw days after Tate went to heaven.
We need the one that on that hard day that floats by Whitney to gently say, I am so happy with my Father.
We need the One who is greater than all things that give us this hope we can cling to.
We need our God for this joy can only come from above.
