Just this morning, I was stressing over the craziness of my life. Sugar Snap is growing is such a big way and last night I told my husband that I really needed to get my “ducks in a row”{get organized} I frantically headed out for my session and had to go back in the house not once but twice, because I forgot something. On my last trip in, my baby boy was crying, the dog got out and ran away, my husband was chasing him around the outside of house in his PJ’s and I had on two different shoes.
I got to our location {Cater’s Lake, Anderson} and met up to photograph one of the most precious families in town.
Are they not the sweetest family ever? Okay, okay… they were not the family I was meeting but as they walked past me, I couldn’t help think how funny it was that I was frustrated about my ducks not being in a row.
Oh, and did you know that Geese fly in a V formation?
Every bird in the group fly in the field of vision of all other members. This helps in keeping track of each other in the group. This also makes it conducive to the members in the group to communicate with each other while in flight and make sure that everyone stays safe and feels loved and supported.
Sounds like what family is all about huh? So I got my ducks in a row and some shooting I did.
{Calm down, no animals were harmed during this session}.
Notice the V formation right? I couldn’t resist. In the little bit of time I had spent with all of them, I could tell that it was a family that loved, supported and protected each other on a daily basis.
You see it too right?
Well, we finished up our family session and decided to take the youngest of the family out for some pictures on her own. She was a pro from the beginning and completely a pleasure to spend time with.
Her Mom would take a look in my camera and start jumping up and down about how excited she was about some of the shots. So, Allison… I am going to post bunches just for you!
Lindsey is simply a gorgeous girl on the inside and out.
It was seriously a great day for a session. So great we decided to celebrate over some frozen yogurt.
If you have not tried YOGO EXPRESS in Anderson then I say get your ducks in a row and get there fast.
I know Lindsey is glad she did!
PS. This was not a paid advertisement for YOGO EXPRESS, but if they read it they are more than welcome to pay me with a free 7 oz. yogurt.
