Leslie and I met sophomore year of college and became roommates the last two years. It was one of those instant connections where you know you’ve made a lifelong friend. And she’s that friend that I can call and catch up and we immedialtey pick up where we left off. You may remember her gorgeous family session at Paris Mountain a few years ago.
So when she reached out about Tate’s newborn session because after two girls, she was having a boy, I was THRILLED! Not only would I get to capture her newest addition but I would get to catch up. Because let’s be honest, if we have a newborn session together, I want to know everything about your family. I fall more in love with my families at these sessions, and then you’re stuck with me because I just want to be your best friend!
As was the case with Leslie, we caught up, learned about her girls’ favorite things and even everything about Tate they’ve learned in the week of doing life with him.
And there are four people that are absolutely smitten. Nora and Amelia RAN in after school so excited to see their brother. And they had the sweetest story…Nora brought home a plant that she’d grown at school. And when Leslie asked if the butterflies had come out of their chysallis yet, Leslie’s mom told us, yes, they had come out of their chrysalis the DAY Tate was born! These details God coordinates!
Their daddy, Andrew, couldn’t stop talking about everything they planned to do together. Braves games. Clemson football. He has big plans!
And sweet Leslie, just obsessed with this second guy to steal her heart completely.
Oh sweet Harmons, how I love you!
